Primrose residents in Aberdeen, SD, have been busy preparing for National Random Acts of Kindness Day, which was celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 17th. Fresh baked cookies and 38 loafs of banana bread, prepared by members of our Assisted Living Baking Club, were delivered to unsuspecting citizens of our community by staff and residents alike.

Among the many places we visited, we had great fun visiting the campus of Presentation College. Armed with huge homemade cookies and an assortment of gift cards to local merchants, several residents from our independent living community enjoyed visiting with the students and faculty members who were on lunch break from class and surprising them with a random act of kindness. When our work was complete, we decided to stay and have lunch right there on campus. A couple of the students wasted no time in paying forward an act of kindness to us and offered to pay for our lunch! We were equally delighted when they accepted our invitation to join us.
