At the Mankato Primrose, we like to embrace every season as it comes. This October we had pumpkin bingo, a fall dance at Vine, a Halloween costume party, autumn wine and cheese sampling, and even pumpkin painting! The best part about these activities is that when you walk down the hallway, you are able to see all of the festive fall decorations each resident has put out. The most recent addition to the decorations has been brightly colored pumpkins! Painting pumpkins was an especially enjoyable activity for everyone here at Primrose. Each resident was able to paint their own pumpkin however they wanted and then take them home! There were scary faces, happy faces, and some very creative faces. There was even one couple who decided to paint a pumpkin together and named him Peter as they sang “Peter, Peter pumpkin eater, had a wife and couldn’t keep her. Put her in a pumpkin shell, there he kept her very well.”
