Have fun, boys! Cherish these moments, don’t focus on the mistakes, but focus on the fact that you got up and tried. One day these days will be some of the best memories that you have. Keep up the good work!

If you can’t get them to the ball park you bring the ball park to them! The Anderson Primrose Retirement Community and the local Brooklyn Little League teamed up together this summer to play a “Scrimmage in the Grass” game.

The local league brought two teams from their major boys ranging in ages from 9-12. The boys showed up early to talk with the residents about a variety of topics, with residents giving them words of wisdom.

The boys and the residents indulged in favorite baseball snacks from popcorn and peanuts to cotton candy and snow cones brought over by a local fire department on their fire truck. Residents at Primrose enjoy sports of all kinds and love to watch and encourage younger generations of sports players. The “Scrimmage in the Grass” game was a huge success, and a great way to involve the community in our family here at Primrose.
