In the world of senior living, the terminology used can often be difficult to understand. Those seniors who may be in need of a little extra assistance from time to time are often the ones most overwhelmed by the options available to them and what, exactly, they all mean. National Assisted Living Week is September 7-11, and we want to stay with it as our topic for the month.
What does it mean to need assisted living? It certainly can mean different things to different people, but the common thread that all of our assisted living residents share is that they need some level of assistance with the normal activities of daily living. Perhaps it is as simple as needing someone to make sure that medicines get taken at the proper times each day, or maybe there is more to it than that.
In the end – the reality is that you don’t have to spend time worrying about needing assistance. At Primrose, our nursing team walks through an assessment of your needs with you. They then guide you and your family through a customized plan of care that addresses those needs. The process is simple, and the goal is for true wellness and greater independence – just ask some of our current residents and their family members.
If you think that you or a loved one may be in need of assisted living, we would be happy to help you out! For more information, just go to www.primroseretirement.com.
