World Traveler Rick Lohr stops at Primrose to share experiences

Meet Rick Lohr, a retired teacher, world traveler and speaker who is also on the board of directors at the Marathon County Historical Society.

Rick travels all over the world with a digital camera to document people and places. When he is home he crafts informative and educational presentations for large groups. He shares breath taking photos, stories and local experiences from his travels. Primrose of Wausau is fortunate to have him speak regularly about his adventures.

This year alone we have learned about Patagonia, Mekong Delta, Vietnam, Argentina, Chile, Laos, Estonia and next month he will be featuring Costa Rica! Rick has a passion for sharing his adventures.

Mr. Lohr is a former History teacher at Wausau West High School and member of the United Nations Association.

A Primrose resident said, “Rick is so interesting and he volunteers his time to teach us, he made my Christmas card list”! We can’t wait to sit back, relax and let Rick tell us about another adventure he’s been on. He makes us feel like we are right there on a journey with him!
