Stephania (Stephanie) Wagner loves the United States of America. She gets teary-eyed when she hears our National Anthem, and sentimental on Independence Day, Memorial Day and other American holidays.
But unlike most of our other residents, Stephanie was not born in our country.
As a young girl during WWII, Stephanie and her family were moved to Nazi Germany where she and her sister were placed in separate work camps. It is her understanding that her parents then went to Argentina and she never saw her family again.
As a “war bride,” she came to the United States after WWII where she has thrived ever since. She managed the Ft. Findlay Hotel and the Carriage House Restaurant for many years and raised two very successful children.
Stephanie loves living at Primrose and is very grateful for having the opportunity to live in our free country!
