When did you start working at the community?
Kari started working at Bismarck Primrose on 9/09/2009 — easy to remember!
Why did you choose to work for Primrose?
Kari was around seniors from a very young age. When she was five years old, she remembers visiting her great grandmother in the nursing home, then her grandma at the age of 10. Kari become CNA certified in 2002 and fell in love with being around the elderly.
What are some of your favorite memories of working here?
Kari’s favorite memory was when we had entertainment one Sunday afternoon and she had the opportunity to dance with a couple of them. She enjoys seeing our residents having fun and enjoying themselves because after all, that’s what life is all about!
What is your favorite part of your job?
By far, Kari’s favorite part of her job is the one to one interaction with the residents. She enjoys listening to their stories of how they grew up and what they did as a living.
What are your personal hobbies?
When Kari is not working at Primrose, she enjoys taking care of her puppies and catching up on some of her favorite TV shows, such as Friends and Bones.
