COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA – Primrose Retirement Community of Council Bluffs has received a $25,000 scholarship from Iowa Insurance Division, Iowa CareGivers, and Educated Investor to allow Primrose employees to participate in the 2014 Financial Fitness Challenge, which begins this month. According to information from the program, results of participation in this online program have included a 30% increase in financial knowledge and up to a 70% improvement in financial behaviors.
“We are very honored and excited to have been selected for this scholarship,” said Primrose Executive Director Paul Crane. “Recognizing that it is extremely challenging to make ends meet in today’s economy, this course will provide all of us with critical information to be able to meet our financial needs as well as invest for our futures.”
Primrose Retirement Community of Council Bluffs, located at 1801 East Kanesville Boulevard, consists of 36 independent living apartments and 32 assisted living apartments. The community opened in 2008.
