Primrose resident Barbara Ray
I was born and raised in Malta, OH. I married Kenton Ray and we made a big move across the river to McConnelsville, where we lived our entire married life. We have 3 daughters: Brenda in California, Janice in Zanesville and Karen in Florida.
My husband had cancer and was sick a long time. We finally got to the place that we needed so much more help. That is when our daughters helped us make to the decision to move to Primrose in 2010. My husband died in 2011.
I moved out of the apartment and lived with my daughter for a while. My daughter Janice and her family treated me wonderfully but I felt like I should not bother them. I decided to move to an apartment. My daughters then encouraged me to move back to Primrose in July 2013 because I was so happy living there with my husband. It is great coming back and seeing the Residents I knew from before.
I love the way the staff checks on me and helps me when I need help. I like the meals that are provided. I will not be doing anymore moving until they carry me out.
