CHEYENNE, WY – The veterans of Primrose Retirement Community announced today plans to hold an inaugural flag-raising ceremony at the newly completed retirement community on Monday, December 23rd at 9:00 AM. The event will be open to the public and will be conducted by the veterans who live and work at Primrose.
“This is a very special and exciting event, not only for Primrose but for all of us veterans who live and work here,” said Primrose Director of Marketing David Sheppard. “We all have a great deal of respect for our flag and what it represents, so we wanted to be a part of raising it for the first time over this new community.”
Primrose of Cheyenne, located at 1530 Dorothy Lane, officially opened this week, and residents have begun moving into the retirement community. The three story community consists of four Townhome Villas, 40 Independent Living apartment homes and 40 Assisted Living apartments. Floor plans are available in a mix of one and two-bedroom options. Residents will enjoy an array of inviting common areas and amenities, such as a wellness center, pub and billiards/game room, chapel, business center, movie theater, bistro, and outdoor gazebo. The multi-million dollar project was financed by Wyoming Bank and Trust and is owned and operated by South Dakota based Primrose Retirement Communities, LLC.
