Red Hatters Convene

We held our first annual Red Hats Convention and invited several other communities in the area to attend. The turnout was wonderful and everyone came in their red hat attire. We had several different pies to eat along with door prizes and entertainment. New friendships were made and we have even made plans with other red hat groups to meet for lunch once a month.

Spring Open House

Our Spring Open House was held on March 23 and even with the snow and cold weather we had several visitors who enjoyed touring our facility and visiting with tenants and hearing the wonderful reasons they chose Primrose as their home. The kitchen staff did an excellent job of providing yummy treats and beverages for everyone.

St. Patrick’s Day Crafting

Some of the ladies have been busy with crafts this month. We made a cute St. Patrick’s Day wreath for their doors, an Easter centerpiece for their apartments and an adorable egg to decorate the shelf outside their door. The “carrots” are going to be placed on the tables for their Easter dinner. The carrots are simply a Tootsie Roll Pop wrapped in orange and green napkins, tied with spring ribbon and the green napkin cut to look like a carrot top.
