Saturday March 23rd Lima Primrose had their annual Easter Egg Hunt for the residents’ families and staff families.

With Old Man Winter not wanting to leave Ohio, we had to hide the eggs inside this year. To start the day the residents hid the eggs upstairs in the wellness center, the pub, game room, ice cream parlor, theater, and the library.

The children waited in the café for the Easter Bunny to come down the stairs. They then got their pictures taken with him in the Fireside Lounge. While waiting, they got to pet the Easter-Bunny-in-training, and got their faces painted.

They were so excited to hunt for the eggs, so off they went up the stairs for the older kids and up the elevator for the younger ones. The residents enjoyed watching the children run around hunting for the eggs they had hid.

When all the eggs were found, the children went back to the café to decorate a cookie and wait to see if they won a extra prize. Names were pulled everyone won something — either a bunny or one of the four $50 gift cards that were donated by Hawks Carpet Cleaners. The residents enjoyed the cookies and punch that followed with the children.
