Square dancers entertain

Sioux Falls Primrose
Square dancing brings back lots of memories for the tenants of Primrose Retirement Communities of Sioux Falls. Thoughts turn to barn dances, hay bales, dance callers, and even some romance!

Primrose brought these memories to life with the Shirts & Skirts Square Dance Club. Eight dancers performed to a full house in the Primrose Grand Room.

The favorite part of the evening for many of the tenants was when Community Manager Melissa and Activities Director Lou participated in a dance. New to square dancing, Melissa and Lou appreciated being cheered on by the audience!

The dancers wrapped up the evening by enjoying cookies and coffee with the tenants and listening to square dance stories. One tenant recalled that her father used to be a dance caller and she remembered attending many dances when she was young. What a great way to share memories!
