The week started with a family member doing a demonstration on card making. She brought enough material so each resident could make two beautiful fall cards. Everyone was busy preparing to mail their cards. Some thought the cards were too pretty to mail so they instead hung them up in their rooms.

Music for the week was performed by Memory Lane, including vocalists, guitar players and a saxophone player. The group had a foot-stomping good time.

Later in the week, a cake decorating demonstration was held. A family member came in and decorated a surprise birthday cake for her Grandma. Everyone enjoyed a piece of delicious carrot cake and coffee.

The week ended with an Open House Quilt Show. Everyone enjoyed hot cider and cookies while looking at all of the homemade quilts, many of which were handcrafted by the residents.

Primrose would like to thank all of our families for making our Assisted Living Week such a great success. That is what Primrose is all about — Family!
