Primrose Retirement Communities in Wasilla provide independent living and assisted living senior care in an environment that has amazing views of some of Alaska's most beautiful mountain ranges. You can sip your hot cocoa while watching the northern lights at night.
Our staff is the friendliest, happiest, and the most caring anywhere — and our Life Enrichment Coordinator has a zest for your enjoyment that is contagious!
When it is below zero, you can get your mail indoors, enjoy a movie at the theatre, ice cream at the parlor, go to the fitness center, to the beauty parlor — all this without going outside!
We're now featuring monthly art shows in our Gathering rooms.
One of our residents said, "I woke up at 11:00 p.m. and had ice cream in the ice cream parlor. I thought, 'if I wanted to go work this off, the fitness center is right there, then, if I got a cramp, the spa is just around the corner.' I went to the movie theatre and watched a movie till I felt sleepy again. I just love it here!"
It's just about impossible to get lost driving on Highways 1 through 6.
We are the largest state. And everything is big in Alaska — our fish, our mountains and our hearts.
We garden at midnight in the summer because our sun is still shining!
