Mansfield Primrose Hosts Hawaiian Luau

By | September 2, 2015

The Mansfield Primrose team got on our flowered shirts and brightly colored leis and celebrated our 8th anniversary pig roast celebration this year. We went with a Hawaiian Luau theme and it was a big hit! We had Polynesian entertainment with dancers and flame twirlers juggling and throwing flamed sticks into the air, and to top it off they also did some fire breathing!

There was a lot of audience participation, laughter, drum playing and fun. We also raised $900.00 to go toward the Carla Dysert foundation. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful and just a wonderful time was had by all who were in attendance. One resident replied that “This is the best entertainment so far for the pig roast, I don’t know how you will top that next year.” We are already putting our heads together so we can plan for next year’s theme!
