Breaking in the patio
The First Patio Thursday of the year featured delicious Pizza from Papa Murphy’s Pizza, and cold libations including pop and beer. The evening weather was perfect, and 15 residents came out for an evening of conversation, stories, jokes, and fellowship.
Future Patio Parties will feature grilled goodies done by our Activities Coordinator, Cindy Mireles. We suspect that watermelons, hot dogs, sweet corn, and other native foods will also appear on the menu. Perhaps some local deer will peek in once in a while, and the usual flights of ducks and geese will go honking overhead. Our Patio is secluded so that the normal street noises are non-existent. Umbrellas shelter us from the evening sun and a cool breeze encourages sweater wear as dusk comes on. Patio Thursday, just one of the many activities here at Primrose Retirement Community.
