On Monday 4/27/15 the primrose billiards parlor was graced by world renowned Tom “Dr. Cue” Rossman. He shared his jokes, trick shots and spiritual journey with the Primrose gang and had us all laughing at his many fast moves around and on the pool table. Dr. Cue volunteers his time in many outreach venues to promote “Artistic Pool” which are fancy and trick shots, one arm shooting and audience challenges. He hosts clinics and a Billiards Academy. After the show he offered technical advice and instruction for those wanting to improve their game. Often dubbed America’s favorite “table trotter,” he can be found on YouTube and at DrCuePromotions.com.

Dining Services Cook Teresa Martinez, who has been shooting pool for about five years, was instrumental in arranging this fun show for Primrose of Pueblo. She joined Dr. Cue to demonstrate one of the tricks to the delight of residents and LEC Barbara Della Rossa. Residents shared stories that centered on memories of playing pool with their families, teaching their children how to play, and playing while in the military with their buddies. We hope to have Dr. Cue and his wife Marty “Ms. Cue” return next year on their way from their hometown of Cloverdale, Indiana to Las Vegas, but were grateful for a wonderful afternoon spent together. They loved our “this is living” motto and they appreciated that “something special” about Primrose, particularly the people, the billiards room and the ice cream parlor!
