Primrose residents Norma and Calvin Fletcher
We have several residents who are an asset not only to our Primrose Community but who also take that energy out into the Casper Community.
Calvin and Norma Fletcher truly make a difference. Here at Primrose of Casper, they are always helping their neighbors in the Villas, being motivators and friends to everyone they meet. They have been graciously willing to share their travels with our Tea and Topics group by sharing a wonderful presentation.
They have also been a vital part of Casper for many years. When Calvin retired, he joined the Gold K Kiwanis where he has held the position of editor for their newsletter. Both Norma and Calvin volunteered at the hospital for 17 years with Norma in the Surgical Department and Calvin manning the Information Desk. In addition, the Fletchers have been active with the Fall Special Olympics, the Blue Envelope Health Fairs and numerous volunteer positions for their church.
But the most rewarding volunteer post they have held has been with Meals on Wheels. For the past 22 years, they have delivered meals for this very worthy organization, which they feel has benefitted them as much as the people they serve.
We are so fortunate to have the Fletchers as well as many other residents here at Primrose of Casper who make a difference every day. May is Older Americans Month and we will be celebrating all our residents who make an impact in our community and in the lives of others.
