Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra Scott (Jan. 18th of 96—Aug.1st of 04). At the age of 4 Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer.

Since Alex held that first stand, the nonprofit foundation has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope, and also her missions to encourage and empower others to make a difference for children with cancer.

On June 6th, during lemonade days, residents and staff at Primrose Cottages joined in this movement and held their own “Alex’s Lemonade Stand.”
