Pueblo Primrose volunteers
Primrose volunteers felt the appreciation during the annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
Primrose of Pueblo is blessed to have 20 amazing volunteers. Life Enrichment Director Barbara Della Rossa, Assistant Heidi Brooks, and Executive Director Gina Drown were able to recognize, thank, and appreciate each of these volunteers on Wednesday April 23rd in the Primrose Pub. Twinkling lights, warm candlelight, and soft music greeted the volunteers and their guests as they dined on gourmet cold cuts, cheeses, rolls, deviled eggs, potato salad and baked beans. Dessert was an array of chocolate éclairs, cream puffs and Belgian chocolate cups filled with mouse followed by coffee. Each volunteer was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation, a long stemmed rose, and for the 1st time ever a custom Primrose Volunteer T-Shirt. Brenda, Natali and Loretta Miles were named “Mother and Daughters” of the Year.
Volunteers vary from nearby neighbors, family members, community members, and of course, Primrose Residents. Many having been serving for 3 years or longer and the newest joined just 3 months ago. Barbara told the group, “You help us to enrich lives and you enrich our lives, too.” Several volunteers were presented with their custom engraved name badge after having logged 25+ hours. April might be National Volunteer Month but here at Primrose we strive to appreciate our volunteers always, as they are part of the Primrose Family.
