Emily Hess awarded scholarship
WAUSAU, WI – Primrose Retirement Communities has named Emily Hess of Wausau as one of two winners of their annual $1000 Education Scholarship. The formal announcement was made last month during the company’s annual Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Hess serves as an LPN at Primrose of Wausau, where she joined the Primrose team in June, 2013. She is a senior at Chippewa Valley Technical College and will be graduating as an RN with an associate degree in nursing.
“I have had such amazing experiences working as an LPN at Primrose,” said Hess. “I have learned so much from my experiences at Primrose and have gained so much from helping families and residents.”
“Emily has great potential, and it is a priority for us here at Primrose to invest in our employees and in the next generation of health care professionals,” said Primrose Retirement Communities President BJ Schaefbauer. “We’re glad to be able to help her pursue her education, and we’re proud to have her on our team.”
The Primrose Education Scholarship is awarded annually to two employees from any of the Primrose Retirement Communities’ 30 locations. The other scholarship winner is Allison Hanson, who works as a Medication and Nurse Aide at Primrose Retirement Community of Aberdeen, SD.
