Residents volunteer time to prepare dog treat snacks

Mansfield, OH, Retirement Communities

Residents gathered to volunteer their time for a good cause for “four paws” again at Primrose in Mansfield. We made homemade dog biscuits to be given to area dog shelters for Easter treats.

Residents showed up with their rolling pins and we used dog bone cookie cutters to make all sizes of dog treats. Residents met again the following Friday clad in their chef outfits to be filmed on WMFD TV station on Pet Talk. Residents worked hard on bagging up the treats in treat bags adorned with tags that said “Made with love from the Primrose Retirement Community residents.”

Our resident pups were the taste testers of the treats and loved every single one of them.
