Lori Howard with awards
Lori Howard is the Life Enrichment Coordinator at Primrose Retirement Community. She frequently utilizes the library and literacy in her work with seniors, and is extremely upbeat, positive and delightful.
She always encourages reading and learning and is a strong advocate for library services and programs. Last year, she brought several residents to the library to see author C.J. Box, which was no small undertaking.
During the library campaign, she made sure her residents were informed about the issue by inviting a speaker to present.
During her time at Primrose, Lori has coordinated a book discussion group for residents and has put Primrose on the bookmobile schedule.
A Primrose resident recently said, “Can you believe, Lori, that before you got here, we didn’t have any way to get books?!”
The book discussion group celebrated its two year anniversary in March 2014, thanks in large part to Lori’s contagious enthusiasm.
Thank you, Lori, for all that you do for seniors and the library in our community.
