Santa’s Grand Entrance
Betty testing out Santa’s beard
Mary Lou told Santa how good she was this year!
Our Christmas party was a huge success this year at Lancaster’s Primrose! Over forty residents came down to celebrate the holiday together. Our dietary manager, Jana Lehman, provided us with wonderful treats such as cheese and crackers, an elaborate veggie tray, chips and salsa, and even Christmas cookies.
As holiday music played in the background, Santa made his grand entrance through the front doors taking all of the residents by surprise! Everyone was ecstatic to see Santa and all took turns telling him exactly what they wanted for Christmas. One resident declared, “All I want for Christmas is my front teeth, and not just two of them — all of them!” which made everyone laugh.
After the residents had enjoyed their treats and made sure Santa’s beard was real, the party began to wind down. Just as Santa was about to leave, the residents started singing Christmas carols together. Santa, staff members, and friends all joined the residents in their singing, making for a wonderful end to a wonderful party.
