The Primrose of Pueblo Travel Club is seeing the world! San Francisco was our most recent destination!

We did so many things in the 3 days that we were in the Bay Area and the time FLEW by!

When we arrived, after flying from Denver to San Francisco, the group took a Sunset Dinner Cruise on the San Francisco Bay and got our first glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge.

We toured the city on the tour buses, including visiting Sausalito and driving over the Golden Gate Bridge.

The highlight of the trip was the train ride to Monteray and Carmel. The 3 hour ride was great fun as we ate dinner on the train and met people from so many places.

We were met by a bus that took us to the Pier at Monteray Bay where we had wonderful Clam Chowder and then on to the 17 Mile Drive down the Coast.

We stopped at Pebble Beach Golf Club where we got off the bus and walked straight into the clubhouse! We even purchased a golf hat there for our Regional Director of Operations since he is such a big golfer.

We were able to peruse the shops in Carmel for a few hours before we headed back to the train station for our trip back to San Francisco.

While we were there, our friends back at Primrose were never far from our minds. One of our friends, Babs, lived in San Francisco for a large part of her life. She wished that she could have gone with us, but it did not work out for her. So we did the next best thing: while on Fisherman’s Wharf, we took a picture with signs telling her that we missed her!!

The Primrose Travel Club is a wonderful group and a fantastic way to see some parts of the U.S. that we have not seen before! What part of the U.S. is on YOUR Travel List?
