Sometimes big things come in small packages. That was definitely the case when “Little”, a miniature horse came to visit Primrose one morning in August!

Little belongs to the grand-daughter of one of our residents, and she offered to bring him up for a visit one morning.

Next thing I knew, our whole front sidewalk was filled with smiling residents and staff members, anxiously waiting to see Little!

Little’s owner walked him up and down the row of smiling people for about a half hour on a perfect summer morning. The residents each had a few minutes to pet Little, feed him a carrot, and have a good laugh!

For some of the residents, it was the first time they had ever seen a miniature horse in person so it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
