Primrose resident Morris “Mo from Kokomo” Boyce
Morris Boyce moved to Kokomo his junior year in high school, where he met his high school sweetheart who later became his wife. His parents owned an office supply store called, Boyce Office Supplies.
Morris attended Butler University where he was nicknamed “Mo from Kokomo,” because he was the only one in his fraternity house from Kokomo.
After graduating he returned to Kokomo where he worked as personnel director for Delco Radio until he retired. As personnel director he was in charge of hiring, labor relations, plant security, benefit planning, and the list to go on. Due to the fact that he was involved in so much of the activity in Delco Radio, he knows everyone in town.
He moved to Primrose on the recommendation of a friend who already lived here. Mo likes the convenience of the bus, onsite therapy, and the variety of activities. He now has a group of close friends here that he eats with, and plays bridge with, and old friends from the community come in and enjoy Dan’s Donuts with him twice a month on Wednesdays.
He also says the staff and management here is excellent. “Primrose provides everything you need. They are cooperative, friendly, and always helpful.”
