Being a widow and living by myself for five years, I decided to move to Primrose. I have lived here for three years now and am so happy I made the move. Everyone is so friendly and all the staff are so kind and caring — they treat you like family. I feel very safe and secure here. This truly, 'is living!'.

When I first began living at Primrose, I thought that I would stay for six months just over the winter, but as I became more acquainted with the community, I made the decision to stay. Primrose has made everything so handy and I like someone else doing the cooking, cleaning and laundry. I wake up and the newspaper has been delivered to my door and my mailbox is on the premises for easy use. I have made friends, enjoy the activities and the three meals a day. The staff is top-notch and they are just a call away if I need them. Primrose is a great place to live.

Living at Primrose has been the right move for me! Our meals are all well balanced and tasty. The assisted living are offered three meals a day. They receive a hot cooked breakfast, a large lunch and dinner. The independent area receives a continental breakfast of hot oatmeal, cold cereal, and toast, a choice of muffins or fresh fruit and hot and cold beverages along with the large lunch. We can purchase the super meal if we choose. We may choose the lunch menu for our birthday dinner. We are also presented with a birthday balloon while we sing happy birthday. The Primrose bus takes us on many schedules trips to grocery stores, shopping stores, doctor appointments and most any other place we request. Many afternoons we have entertainment, usually related to the season. There are many crafts to decorate our apartments and edible crafts too. There is bible study that everyone can join in and twice a month we have spiritual hour where a pastor comes in and we sing hymns and have a brief message. With all of these activities and some of my own, the days fly by. I have lived at Primrose for over three years already and truly enjoy each day.
